We are mere days away from our performance of “The Vagina Monologues”!
The doors to the Alix Goolden Hall will open at 7:00 PM for our silent auction on April 17th before the show. The silent auction has been a great success and promises to be so again this year! Make sure to arrive early with cheque books in hand! All proceeds from the auction will go towards V-Day Victoria 2010 beneficiaries.

As we near the night of the Silent Art Auction (April 9th, 7 PM, Floyd’s Diner) and the performance of “The Vagina Monologues” (April 17th, 7:30 PM, Alix Goolden Hall), excitement continues to build among cast and community members!

Tickets for the April 17th performance of “The Vagina Monologues” are now available for $20* at:
- UVSS Info Booth (Student Union Building (SUB), University of Victoria)
- The Mary Manning Centre (210-1175 Cook Street)
- Lyle’s Place (770 Yates Street)
The show is at 7:30 PM on April 17th, 2010 at the Alix Goolden Performance Hall.

* All proceeds from our campaign are going to VDay’s spotlight campaign in the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), the Mary Manning Centre (resource and counselling centre in Victoria for children who have experienced sexual violence), and PEERS (a local organization supporting sex workers in Victoria).
This is an open call for art, musical talent and volunteers to be part of the Silent Art Auction and Music Show. This event is in support of V-Day Victoria’s fundraising efforts for PEERS, the Mary Manning Centre and the Spotlight Campaign on the DRC.
WHERE: Floyd’s Diner (at the corner of Yates and Quadra)
WHEN: Friday, April 9th at 7 PM. Volunteers needed at 5:30 PM.
In addition to art submissions and musical talent, we will need volunteers to help with: making and selling treats, monitoring bidding, setting up and taking down, helping with busing and dishwashing, and setting up and running information booths.

The 2010 VDay Victoria campaign is in full swing! This year we are organizing a benefit production of the award-winning play, The Vagina Monologues. All proceeds from our campaign are going to VDay’s spotlight campaign on the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) and PEERS, a local organization supporting sex workers in Victoria.
